Seven of us took the Majestic Princess on this summer cruise: 2-Day Denali Explorer – Tour HA5. We left Georgetown temperatures in the 100s and spent most days in the 50s and 60s. It did get to 70 the last 2 days.
We left port at Vancouver on July 8 and made stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, cruised Glacier Bay and College Fjord, and exited the ship in Whittier. From Whittier we rode an all-day train to Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge for two nights, and then bused to Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge for two nights, then to Anchorage for 1 night. We flew home July 20.
