Day 9 Glenn’s Ferry, Idaho

Beautiful weather. We’re back in the tent tonight.

Left our motel and backtracked slightly to see Multnomah falls but again the site was closed, surrounded by fences so I couldn’t even sneak in. We did get to see two other falls.

Lunch was at “Rooster’s” in Pendleton, Oregon. Had my first Monte Cristo sandwich and it was mighty good.

Driving between the Blue Mountains and the Wallowa mountains near North Powder, I saw a sign “45th parallel-half way between the North Pole and the Equator”.

Sign in pickup window “ Gotta gun, Gotta shovel, Nuff said.”
In this desolate country you would only be found by the vultures.

We are now in Idaho on our way to the national parks in Utah and then on to Texas. Have to return JoAnn to her loving husband, Willis.
