Arriving late in Vaughn New Mexico we found all the motels full. After numerous phone calls by Jo Ann, we found an RV park that let us stay in their parking lot. Reclined the seats and covered up with our sleeping bags.
The only trouble was no facilities so woke up early and headed to nearby gas station. Emptied our tanks and filled up our coffee cups. Off to Roswell.
We got there early so stopped for photos with an alien. A passerby stopped to take it so we could both be in it. We have met many kind helpful people on our trip.
When the UFO museum opened we were there waiting. It is mostly reading of eye witness and military accounts. We are both readers so that was ok.
We then went to Spaceport for virtual reality movie, my first. It was AMAZING. It was a movie of the Roswell incident from the point of an alien.
Our goal was to arrive in Carlsbad and prepare for early arrival tomorrow at the park because tours are first come, first serve and limited.
Tonight we are staying in a cabin at White City just outside the park.
